New Graduate Assistantship Orientation
Each August and January, the Office of the Provost hosts New Graduate Assistantship Orientation to help arriving colleagues identify and make use of the many resources available to support their work. This orientation session is geared towards new Graduate Assistants, Project Assistants, Research Assistants, and Teaching Assistants.
New graduate student assistants can consult the Office for Academic Personnel webpage for further information on Graduate Student Assistantships.
For all new graduate students holding an assistantship in the above categories employed at the Albuquerque campus, the next orientation will be on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. Check-in starts at 8:00am, and the orientation will begin promptly at 8:30am. Please plan for this to be an all-day event. Lunch will be served.
