Special Administrative Component Policies

A Special Administrative Component (SAC), per Handbook policy C180, is a salary amount, in addition to base salary, which is designed to provide an incentive to and compensation for a faculty member who is willing to take on extra administrative duties. That is, a SAC is not part of the faculty member's 9-month base salary calculation.
